Well, try hanging out with some seriously clever people!
Oh... and some Bees.
That's what we've been doing lately, working on a series of videos with Bristol University. These videos are about a scheme called IRIS (Interdisciplinary Research Internship Scheme), which encourages students to collaborate across departments. It's really interesting! From research on 'Interracial Relationships in 20th Century Art' to 'Audio Levitation' and, of course, the way Bees see the world.
The videos are part of the Universities preparation for an exciting new development in Bristol's Temple Quay area which will focus on cutting edge research and using technology to build a more human-friendly and equitable world.
As always, we like to find unusual and memorable ways to tell stories so it was a delight to find a scientist willing to dress in a funny costume and act like a Bee!
It's very exciting to work with the University on these projects and we look forward to being able to show the finished films soon.
